Just going to tell you all about the last week! So...if you don't know, I'm a new mommy (4 month old baby girl!). I didn't want to leave her, but alas, I came back to work last week. And she went to daycare. It's been a tough week because I miss her and I worry about her! It's also been crazy at work! Did I really use to do this much stuff before my maternity leave? Maybe they piled on some extra tasks while I was away...hmm...lol
But the cool thing was that this past week was Employee Appreciation Week at work, so they provided breakfast on Monday and lunch today and yesterday. My boss also took out my team for lunch on Monday. And we've been playing team games (like Bingo and trivia quizzes) for points to earn a trophy. All in all, not a bad way to come back to work, eh?
And my boss just came by & told me I can head out early today, so I will definitely be doing just that in a bit.
